Hamburger Mary's
Yesterday I met up with a good friend of mine who is practically my neighbor to get caught up on our holidays and share stories about our Grandfather's deaths. We tried our local neighborhood fav, Fat Cat, but being that it was closed for some unknown reason (and this seems to happen a lot in Chicago, restaurants being open at random times) we took a cab over to Andersonville to try Hamburger Mary's. The best thing about the place is its decor--colorful, purple, and cartoonish features. The food, eh, average at best tho the fries were good. And really, for a place called Hamburger Mary's, the hamburgers ought to rock. *sigh* I guess our expectations were too high with thoughts of Fat Cat burgers in our heads...Oh well. Don't bother with this one.
